And at the one end of the room, he moved his bed, his desk. And then, at the other end of the room, he build a robot that has a paintball gun. And the robot could be controlled over the internet by people. And he stripped all the information out of the internet, and the idea here, he didn't want to right away engage people in a political dialogue, which could alienate them, when they know this is about Iraq, they just like "Alright, we don't want to engage" So he stripped it. And he started the idea of this is just a silly game. A guy locking himself in a room. Who doesn't want to shoot? and you could shoot him from anywhere in the world.

He learned about a video game in 2005 called "The night of bush capturing". And apparently, that video game was released by ai-Qaeda. and in the game, it's a first shooter. In the fame, you shoot Americans, and at the end you are face-to-face with President Bush, and you shoot him, you kill hm or could kill you.

• Tell us how much money you had to begin with ($200, $1000, or $2500) How did it feel to have more or less money than other people in the class? What did you spend the most money on and why? What did you spend the least amount of money one and why?

I had $1000 to spend. I think that if I had more money, I can buy more useful things than others who only had $200. I spent the most money on "Heat/fuel", because if we have food, then we need to cook it. That means we need gas. We won't just EAT that food without cooking it first. Also, if you cook the food, the food has less germs on it. That's why I spent the most money on "Heat/fuel".
I spent the least money on Education, because I think, if you don't get any food, then you'll be hungry. If you get hungry, then it will be hard to concentrate in school. I think school is less important than food or water or heat. If you get to graduate from school that is good, but you can be poor from owing money.

• How many of you could not afford education? What would your lives be like if you could not go to school?

I think only Jacky and I couldn't afford education, because we spent more money on food, water and gas. If we couldn't go to school, then we received less knowledge than others. In the future, we will get less work opportunities than others.

• What were some of the trade-offs in your decisions and choices? In other words did you have to make certain sacrifices in order to buy other things you needed or wanted? (For example: buying purified water in order to afford to send your children to a better school)How would it feel to have to choose between food and health care?

Sometimes, I'll make the decision based on "what I want" first, then I'll make "what I need" after. But I will choose what I need first if I don't have the money for what I want. I choose the beans, vegetables, meat for food, because if you eat healthy, then you will have a lot of energy to do things. If you drink clean water, you won't get diseases. But I think education is not that important as the water and the foods, but I had to choose between food and health care. I think I chose food, because if you eat healthy, then your body has a lot of energy to resist diseases.

• How many of you have ever been very sick or gone to a hospital or had friends and family who have? What would your life be like now if you had been unable to get medical care?

When I was in grade 6th, my brother got a fever. At that time, his body's temperature was 40。C. Everyone in our family, specially my mom, was so nervous, and sent my brother to hospital.

I chose health care that provides hospital services. Because I think if you really get a disease, like fever, or cough, you really need to go to hospital, or it will get worse.

• When you were choosing what to buy, did you think about the environmental impact? For those of you in the lowest income range, did you have a choice about the environmental impact you produced? If not, how did it feel to not have a choice??

I think those people who have the lowest wages, don't have a choice about environmental impacts. Because they don't have money to buy what they need or what they want, so they don't have choice. They'll get things from nature which will effect the environment. But sometimes, the things they use won't cause an the environmental impact. In comparison, the rich people always buy the things they want, and don't think that much about where it comes from and the environmental impacts.

1. Why didn't everybody go to the same stations in the same order?
Because at first, everybody stand in the different station, and then when each person throw the die, the die won't be the same number as everybody throw. So every time, won't have a lot of people stay in the same station.

2. Did you go to the same station twice? Id so, what does this tell us about cycles?
Yes, at the end, I go to the same station just like start from the beginning. And I think it tell us whenever we go to the different station, at the end it will go back to the same station just like the beginning, so that means it will start all over again.
3. Was there one station that seemed to have a lot of people at it? Why or why not?
No, because it is different when everyone throw the die, there's no specific number for each person, and the reason why is because if some people's first station was in "Animal Waste (Juegan)" and if he throw the die in his 5 station, maybe he will move to different station, but the chance that he throw back to "Animal Waste" was very big.
4. What do you think the point of this activity was?

In this book "Blood Red Horse"
it happen a lot of interesting things, and the first one is:
How Gavin tell someone about Will's bad things.
When William was riding his horse, and Gavin told everybody
his horse was like a pony, so that means William was riding a pony.
And the other one is after that, Gavin throw William's lovely horse
to the castle's moat. And then William was get more angry for Gavin.
For First Sir Thomas, he move to the north of England,
at that time, the King of England was call " King Rachard"
And I think First Sir Thomas was mighty, because in this book
the book describe First Sir Thomas was like an old man.
But After that, the book continue say at the middle ages,
when the people have war with another country, the people
who live in north part of England, at that time, they don't have
their own house, so they have to build the house by themselves.
But they don't have time, because they all spend the time on war.
So First Sir Thomas help them to build all the house during the war time.

In the video " Benjamin Button TED talk", the man who shows the video was present how to use technology to make a old man. The beginning, they using the animation to make a old man, At first it was start from the man, and then the get the man's face shape, and using the dot to depict the shape, and then using the computer to draw the face, in the beginning, use the easiest way, like using the face without no eyes, mouth, nose.... and only the face shape, and the face shape was in 2D, which is mean you cannot see the chin, only the surface of the face. After that, in this 3D one(picture), you can not see very clear in that face, like the eyes, nose, mouth, so the is how to make 3D surface of human's face.

And down the second picture, it's 4D, because in this picture, it shows the old man's facial feature, and time was in a part of 4D, too. And in the left one with the right one, and the left one is without background, the right one is with the background, you can see how different between those two, what I think of those two picture was, the picture without background was not like a real old man, most of the people can easy see that this old man was make from computer, but the right one with the background, you will think that old man was really in this world. So you can know how real when you using animation to make a video, or the movie, because it can let the people think how real is that.

First sir thomas was in Hartslove castle, and he went to this place, and build a lot of house.
First sir thomas he been to England with William the conqueror in 1066. He is lucky because he allot to the north place in England, and when he saw this place, he use a lot of word to describe, and when he saw the deer was stand near the lake, and it is drink the water of the lake, so he name this place call Hartslove castle, but he didn’t name all of the north house, and then he think England is better than France, so he married with the England woman, and they got a lot of baby. And the original king in England was dead. At that time, people spend a lot of time on war, they don’t have time to care about the Build the Building. And the Fifth Sir Thomas was dead.
And Gavin and will’s father was so hard to build those building, because those people are spending their time on war, so the king of England like him.

Effective communication in my own word, I think that's communicate with someone and use the Effective way, and be nice to people when you try to communicate with them. And I think effective communication is important because if we are in the future, and if you want to find the work, you must have a good communication with the people, maybe use "Effective communication" this way than you can easy to find the job, and if you are in school, and you are the new student, if you want to get some new friends, you can use " Effective communication" ways to communicate with other students, than you can make friends more easier.

Today, we watched video about Ancient Rome in Humanities, and in this movie, I saw three rank of people in Ancient Rome, the first one is people who work for the king, and they can control people, because they have power, they are a part of King's people.

And the second one is the people who live in street, like the normal people, have normal life. And in the movie, I saw a man and a girl they standing on the roof and watching the people who are working for the king. And they are walking on the street, and the girl was remiss the roof was broken, so when she be near to the roof, the roof's brick was falling down, and that brick hurt soldier's head, so all the soldier run to the top of the house and catch that girl. But it just an accident, But the soldiers didn't believe them, so they take the guy and the girl to the jail.

And the third one is slave, slave is people who let the soldier to take their to the jail. And this kind of people is very poor, because they don't have power to choose what they want or not, and in this video, the salve have to help those soldier to row a boat, and if someone is tired, the soldier will use the whip to hit that people.

And I think that's not fair, because people have a same position, you can't say the prisoner they don't have choice.

Babies in Greece, actually they wear nothing at all, but sometimes, they still wear diapers. In winter, of course they feel cold, so they will wear a T-shirt. And Greece men, mostly they wear tunic. and tunic are make from wool or linen, they wore it only over one shoulder, and then they wear leather sandals, but they wear sandals when they wouldn't barefoot. And Greece women, they wear very normal than the babies and the men, because they only wear a large piece wool or linen. And how did those women wear that large piece wool? One way was to fold the cloth in half, and put it so that the fold in the cloth came under your right armpit and down your right side. Then pull up on the front and the back of the cloth so they meet over your right shoulder and pin the front and the back together with a big safety pin. Then pull more of the front up over your left shoulder, and pin it to the back in the same way. So that's how " Greek Dress" wearing.

There are five student outcome, which is Active learner, Person of high character, Effective communicators, Community contributors, Critical thinker and problem solver.

In class, I ask my classmate or teacher sometimes if I have any problem, And I also paying attention in class, and in another subject I do my homework on time, so I think that’s why active learner has been doing.
And the person of high character, I think person of high character is mean helping people when they need help, than I will help them, and another meaning of person of high character is be a nice person every time. In humanities, I always help Kitty or a Ariel with their computer problem, and Jean also a person of high character, too. Because when I have a mind map’s problem, I will ask her, and she always help me for humanities. The other five students outcome is call effective communicators, this part is talking about respect people, and the easy example is: When someone is present their presentation, we have to be respect to them, we can’t not talk to people when their are talking, so that, after the presentation, we can get a lot of information in their presentation, and I think I’m the effective communicators, because when this semester start, Mr.Carpenter want us to make a iphoto project about us, when everyone is presenting their project, I be respect to them, because I didn’t talk to people, and I was focus on their project. So I think that’s how effective communicators have to do. In community contributors, this part is talking about communicate with people, and use friendly way to talk to people. In class, I saw many people talk to people with friendly ways, and some people talk with mean ways, and I think I’m the both, because sometime I will very friendly to people, but if that people still don’t know what I’m talking about or don’t understand what’s that meaning, then I will be mad, because I hate someone doesn’t care about anything when people are talking to them, so those are the example for effective communicators. The last one five students outcome is call Critical thinker and problem solver, and this is mean when someone asking you the question, than you can give them a specific answer, or just the answer is okay, In this part, I think I’m the critical thinker and problem solver, but just a little, because sometimes, when someone ask me the question, I will give them what I thought, but sometimes, when people ask me the question, I told them this question I don’t know, I think they will be very disappointed to me, so this is how the critical thinker and problem solver have to do, is when someone is asking the question, then you can give them the answer.

So those are the five students outcomes that we have to do in H.I.S, but not just in H.I.S, maybe in the future, this five students outcomes will very using in our life.

It is not the first time Sanlu has been connected to a scandal involving tainted milk powder, according to China Daily.

In 2004, at least 13 infants in the eastern Anhui province died of malnutrition after drinking milk powder that had little to no nutrition. The illegally manufactured milk was falsely labeled with the Sanlu brand, according to the paper.

More than 170 other babies were hospitalized as a result of drinking the cheap milk powder.

Chinese police have questioned 78 people -- including dairy farmers and milk dealers -- about the most recent contamination, a Chinese official told Xinhua Saturday. Sanlu would not say whether its employees are being investigated, Xinhua said.

Testing by Sanlu found tripolycyanamide, also known as melamine, in 700 tons of its product, said Zhao Xinchao, the vice mayor of Shijiazhuang, the news agency reported.

Zhao told the news agency that the suspects added water to the milk they sold to Sanlu to make more money, then added the chemical so the diluted milk could still meet standards.

Inspectors found the chemical in Sanlu infant formula produced by one of the company's partner producers in northwest Gansu Province, an official said Sunday.

Two of 12 samples randomly selected from the Sanlu milk powder produced by the Haoniu Dairy Company in Jiuquan City tested positive for melamine, said Xian Hui, the vice-governor of Gansu.

Health experts say ingesting melamine can lead to kidney stones, urinary tract ulcers, and eye and skin irritation.

The chemical is commonly used in coatings and laminates, wood adhesives, fabric coatings, ceiling tiles and flame retardants.

Four earthquakes measuring between magnitude 4.5 and 5.3 rattled the region during a 24-hour period, ending Thursday afternoon.

Engineers were anxiously watching as water rising behind the dam neared a spillway designed to relieve the pressure on it.

When Jessie and I do the Africa Project, we will talk together if we both have a same question, and we can share our information, like Wikipedia( it can search many things, like culture...), Then if we have English problem, we use English to translate into Chinese, so we know that question mean. Then if we are doing research, when she got a website that have many information, she will tell me the website, and I will go and see the website, If I don't understand the question, she will explain to me, and if she doesn't understand the question, maybe I know, I will try to explain to her.

A Reuters cameraman and two bystanders were killed in an apparent airstrike near El Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Qing dynasty was china’s last and largest dynasty
in the late 1700s the british smuggling opium from India to China .They used opium,to buy Chinese goods, Chinese government seized all the opium the British had stored .the british responded with an attack,and the first opium war began.the war and in 1842 with the treaty of nanking.
Mao’s Reforms :the communists seized land from the wealthy and give it to the peasants. in 1958,Mao Zedong launchded a program called the “Great Leap Forward”,to speed up economic development. in one year, this program shattered China economy.
The Cultural Revolution : in 1966 Mao launched a movement called the CULTURE REVOLUTION Mao’s new supporters were called the Red Guards.They punished people who spoke against Mao and who had contact with western people or ideas.
